Avion, the ultimate Hot Wheels?

DSCN7984
I love the shape of the Avion... it feels like the Hot Wheels I used as a kid.

Aero can be such a nice aesthetic.

It is pretty, isn't it?

The thing that this car shows is that you don't need to re-think the whole idea of how to power a car to achieve good economy, you (just) need to re-think how you package the existing parts for greater efficiency.

It is a real beauty - even if it has no parking brake. I love the other shots too - looks like it was designed for a Pixar movie. the lines really speak to me - there is some 60's futurism in the iconography - whoever designed it did not think 'appliance' like Toyota did.
